Something to think about..
Imagine that you had won the following prize in a contest:
Each morning your bank would deposit $86,400.00 in your private account for
your use.
However, this prize has rules, just as any game has certain rules.
The first set of rules would be:
Everything that you didn't spend during each day would be taken away from
you.
You may not simply transfer money into some other account.
You may only spend it.
Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another
$86,400.00 for that day.
The second set of rules:
The bank can end the game without warning; at any time it can say, Its over,
the game is over.
It can close the account and you will not receive a new one.
What would you personally do ?
You would buy anything and everything you wanted, right ?
Not only for yourself, but for all people you love, right ?
Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly spend it all
on yourself, right ?
You would try to spend every cent, and use it all, right ?
ACTUALLY, this GAME is REALITY !
Each of us is in possession of such a magical bank. We just can't seem to
see it.
The MAGICAL BANK is TIME !
Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds as a gift of life, and when
we go to sleep at night, any remaining time is NOT credited to us.
What we haven't lived up that day is forever lost.
Yesterday is forever gone.
Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account
at any time . . . WITHOUT WARNING !
SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds ?
Aren't they worth so much more than the same amount in dollars ?
Think about that, and always think of this:
Enjoy every second of your life, because time races by so much quicker than
you think.
So take care of yourself, be Happy, Love Deeply and enjoy life !
Here's wishing you a wonderfully beautiful day.
I believe that religion, generally speaking, has been a curse to mankind - that its modest and greatly overestimated services on
the ethical side have been more than overcome by the damage it has done to clear and honest thinking.
I believe that no discovery of fact, however trivial, can be wholly useless to the race, and that no trumpeting of falsehood,
however virtuous in intent, can be anything but vicious.
I believe that all government is evil, in that all government must necessarily make war upon liberty...
I believe that the evidence for immortality is no better than the evidence of witches, and deserves no more respect.
I believe in the complete freedom of thought and speech...
I believe in the capacity of man to conquer his world, and to find out what it is made of, and how it is run.
I believe in the reality of progress.
I - But the whole thing, after all, may be put very simply. I believe that it is better to tell the truth than to lie. I believe
that it is better to be free than to be a slave. And I believe that it is better to know than be ignorant.

DE Qui?
It would be safe to say that Marc's trail in Banos, France is a ceramic roller coaster.
The combination of the fine red clay being sculpted, tampered, watered and baked by the sun; results in stunningly strong lips and landings. If you case- your bicycle breaks, not the trail!

248 Evolution
248 Trails
In the spring of 1996, I was 12 years old and my brother and I had just fallen into BMX. We loved it, everything about it; it brought so many new ideas into our heads. Most of these ideas centered on jumping our bikes in the air. We searched out vacant piles of dirt all along the road we lived off, to turn into our playground. Eventually our mother allowed us to build a fly-out style jump off to the side of one of her gardens in the yard. Without much hesitation we built our first backyard jump. With time and our parents consent, we migrated our jump building into the old apple orchard that made up the bulk of the backyard property. I believe my parents knew that if we had a place to ride @ home, we would be around a lot more and grow a stronger attachment and feel of HOME.
Construction in the backyard started slow due to our limited knowledge in the art of building jumps. We had no idea how to properly build at first; we would stack up small piles of sod (grass clumps) and cover it with loose dirt and send ourselves off unstable mounds. We started creating different size single jumps all over the backyard. Everything was separated with hardly any rhythm to the spot. With time our building skills evolved with our riding skills and the place really started to develop. The single jumps turned into rhythm sections, filling in space and creating lines that worked together. With the help of outside influence our construction methods improved and became second nature. Mastering something that was once so foreign, we learned how to work and form the soil into take offs and landings that would create the sensation we wanted. 248 would eventually turn into a spot with over 50 hand built doubles that worked and flowed together creating endless lines and transfers that could keep any rider busy for as long as the sunlight allowed.
The Michigan winters take the life out of the soil, unpacking and eroding lines beyond comprehension. Every spring is a complete rebuild and for this reason, every year our trails were built taller, thicker and steeper. This cycle continued for the 14 consecutive summers the trails existed. So in the same place we had built our smallest doubles, we had evolved into building some of our biggest and most favorite jumps to date. Unfortunately lives moved up and out of the area and in the summer of 2009 we took the trails down by machine in a matter of 6 hours. Everything kind of flashed through my head during the leveling process; so many days of work, fun and memories laid to rest. Although the trails are no more, the experience is not lost and the energy from 248 is spread out with the many people who were involved. All the locals are spread all over the country, all involved in a new spot or scene, using the same energy in a new form, with new people and new soil. Just as quick as one spot ends, a new one can be created with more knowledge and motivation behind it. If you are a builder, you can take your energy anywhere on the planet and create a masterpiece. It is never too late!

"Getting up and Getting out. Time Flys... One year has already come and gone so fast, and now we have a point of decision. A moment's reflection- a need to aspire. Limit the negative possibilities and get on to satisfaction. I'm moving on to a new neighborhood- where life is consistent and it's not out of the ordinary to walk at night. A place near Tai Da University- where the brains of the country go with lots of need for insight.
And like myself- searching
red: time: what a melodic setting- to understand the perplexities of a moving snake would be close to but not reaching the entire perplexities that create my day or sought for
Enjoy the journey

As the world turns, I spread like germs
Bless the globe with the pestilence, the hard-headed never learn
It's my testament to those burned
Play my position in the game of life, standin firm
on foreign land, jump the gun out the fryin pan, into the fire
Transform into the Ghostrider, a six-pack
and (A Streetcar Named Desire), who got my back?
In the line of fire holdin back, what?
My peoples if you with me where the fuck you at?
